The main boys' sports are Rugby in the Autumn Term, Hockey, Soccer and Cross Country Running in the Spring Term and Cricket, Athletics and Tennis in the Summer. 

The girls take part in Netball, Hockey and Cross Country Running, as well as Rounders, Athletics and Tennis in the Summer.

In all the main sports the School competes regularly and successfully both regionally and nationally.

A large number of teams are maintained as this enables every pupil to have the opportunity to represent the School.

Spratton has over fifty acres of superb grounds, including a new floodlit Astroturf hockey pitch, a large hardcourt area for netball and tennis, a smaller hardcourt area,  and acres of sports fields which incorporate a full 400m running track, 4 astro cricket pitches, cricket nets, pavilions and scoreboards, a cross country circuit, and  multiple rugby, football, rounders and cricket pitches as required.
