The Coley Centre – Formal Opening of new School Building Development
It was wonderful to see so many parents, pupils, staff and Old Sprattonians at the opening ceremony for our new development. The building has been named in honour of former Chairman of Governors, James Coley, who cut the ribbon with gusto, after additionally dedicating the building to his wife Ashling, for her unwavering support during his time as Chair. There were short speeches from Headmaster, Simon Clarke and current Chairman, Tim Blades, who praised the amazing efforts of everyone who was involved in what has been a mammoth undertaking. The afternoon ended with a chance to view all the rooms in the centre, including the Dining Room, Medical Centre, new Class Room and Art Room, which featured an excellent display created by our Year 8 artists and scholars. We look forward to the multiple benefits and opportunities this amazing building will bring us going forwards.
