Year 1 had a fascinating day travelling back in time to explore life in Ancient Egypt. Leicester New Walk Museum provided a wonderful opportunity to handle artefacts from up to 4,500 years ago. The children participated in practical activities, including putting organs into the correct Canopic jar and dressing up in traditional clothes.
