As part of our ‘Chocolate’ topic, the children in Year 2 enjoyed the most delicious, delightful and delectable trip to Cadbury World! They began by travelling back in time one thousand years to Mexico, where they walked through the tropical rainforest of the Mayan Indians and found out about how chocolate was first made. Then the children visited the recreation of Victorian Bull Street, where they met John Cadbury and found out about where the Cadbury business began. A trip to the Cadbury Purple Planet allowed the children to experience a range of interactive games, where they played in chocolate rain, grew their own cocoa tree and were chased by Creme Eggs! The day finished with a ride on the Crunchie rollercoaster and diving into liquid Cadbury Dairy Milk, as the children were whisked away on an adventurous journey in the 4D cinema.
