Thank you to Earl Spencer for inviting Year 6 to an incredible Archaeological Roman Villa Dig at Althorp House. Guided by some very knowledgeable Professors, the children helped dig up, wash, clean and assess actual 2000 year old artefacts straight from the ground. They unearthed oyster shells, roof tiles, cow bones, pottery, flagstones and much more. Truly amazing!
