Not all of our classrooms have four walls! In Pre-Prep, the children have weekly timetabled lessons in our glorious Five Acres Wood and will just ‘up sticks and go’ to take their inside learning, out.
From den building, potion making in the mud kitchens, phonic hunts, storytelling and the creation of bug hotels and natural mark making, our Forest School area is rich in opportunities to develop children’s social and communication skills, problem solving, critical and creative
thinking and knowledge of the world around them.
Older children in the Prep School often take their classroom-based learnings outside to perform practical experiments and observations as well as simply reaping the benefits of spending time outdoors.
