The Arts at Spratton Hall
Drama, Music and Art are extensively woven through our curriculum and extra-curricular activities, as we
recognise the positive impact that the Arts can have on a child’s
confidence, creativity and wellbeing.
Art
We see Art and Design as an essential part of learning creative expression and Prep School pupils will have a double lesson every week in our Art and Ceramics studios. Topics include observational drawing, painting, pottery, printing and textiles. Pupils can also access the studios for independent learning and optional Art Clubs.
Music
The Prep School pupils have both practical and theoretical music lessons as part of the curriculum. Individual music tuition is available for 21 different instruments, which can then be played in concerts and ensembles as the pupils progress. Singing is also very much a part of life at Spratton Hall.
