PHSCE

P.S.H.C.E (Personal, Social, Health & Citizenship Education) is seen to be central to the development of the whole pupil. They provide for the formation of young people’s values, attitudes and beliefs.

In P.S.H.C.E we encourage pupils to take part in a wide range of activities and experiences across and beyond the curriculum, helping them to contribute to the lives of their school and communities. In doing so they learn to recognise their own worth, work co-operatively with others and become increasingly responsible for their own learning.

Pupils also find out about the main political and social institutions that affect their lives as well as their responsibilities, rights and duties. They learn to respect our humanity, diversity and differences so that they can go on to develop positive and fulfilling relationships.
