Trips and events

In addition to all our the sport and extra-curricular activities, terms are packed with
exciting trips and events.

School Trips

Every term the Prep School pupils enjoy a variety of regional, national, then as they reach Years 7 and 8, international trips.
The cost of any trips is added to the end of term bill and parents will receive an email prior to
the trip to confirm whether they would like their child to attend.

Trips to Senior Schools

There are also regular trips, usually to Senior Schools where pupils are chosen to take part in an event hosted by the school such as:

  • Stowe School Art Day
  • Uppingham School ‘On the Buzzer Quiz’
  • Oundle School Balloon Debate
  • Oakham School Music Day

School Events

Events at Spratton Hall very often have a charity focus and usually involve the whole school and staff.

Some of our regular and recent events:

  • Rock Your Socks
  • Harry Potter Day
  • Christmas Jumper Day
  • Home Clothes Days
  • World Book Day

Enhancing the Curriculum

School trips complement and enhance the curriculum, covering the topics that the children are
studying and enabling the teachers to bring the subject to life.
