Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week
Today sees the start of Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week. To help the pupils gain awareness and recognition of positive mental health, Mrs Fordy, our Mental Health Lead, has created a calming calendar of events to boost their minds, bodies and souls! Every day the children will be able to try new mood-boosting experiences and learn self-care techniques. Monday’s activities ranged from yoga practice in a sunny drawing room, to ‘Music for Reading’ in the Library and Leaf Raking in the school grounds.
